Twice entomological surveys were carried out four geographical locations (Abha, Rijal Alma, Muhayil, Asahel) within Region during period from November December 2020. collected using light traps (10 traps/ month). Identification species was done under a binocular microscope at 40x. Female male specimens identified by observing head genital structures morphological keys. Six with 107 throughout (November 2020). P.bergeroti is most abundant (54.2%) followed P. alexandri (18.6%) P.orientalis (12.1%) total flies ,while P.papatasi, P.sergenti, P.arabicus less abundance region . More sandfly found Abha province (38.3%) Alma (31.7%) while least Muhayil (8.4%) this showed that P.alexandri widespread specifically provinces. studies needed understand preference, behavior vectorial efficiency Asser region.
